Chandler Industries

Chandler Industries is a contract manufacturer of precision machined components, lathe operations, sheet metal fabrication, sub-assemblies, and complete assemblies. Acquired by Arch Equity Partners in April 2011, Chandler Industries is composed of 3 primary divisions, Chandler, Lake Country, and Stremel, each with unique capabilities and areas of expertise. Blending organizational critical mass with state of the art technology and high quality standards, Chandler Industries satisfies its customer's demands of on-time delivery, quality, and value. Many of Chandler Industries’ most loyal customers are highly respected Fortune 500 companies, a testament to its dependability.

Located in Minnesota, Chandler is one of the largest CNC machining suppliers in the upper Midwest. The Chandler division machines difficult types of materials for demanding customer applications, providing integrated service from initial product design and prototypes to product development and testing right through full production. Chandler’s primary machining operations involve making parts out of bar stock. In addition to an existing Asian manufacturing and customer support branch, Chandler expects to open a new production facility in Mexico by the beginning of 2014. Chandler’s growing international presence is apparent in the fact that more than 50% of its finished products ship to markets outside the U.S, a number that is only likely to increase.

Differing from Chandler in manufacturing expertise, the Lake Country division performs precision lathe operations, on castings provided by third party suppliers, significantly expanding Chandler’s capabilities. Similar to Chandler, Lake Country has a 99% on-time rate with extremely low PPM (quality defects) making them one of the best-rated vendors for its customers. Chandler Industries acquired Lake Country on February 1, 2012.

The Stremel division specializes in sheet metal fabrication, machining and assembly of components for leading aerospace and defense OEMs, primarily for military aircraft. Through it’s impressive clientele list and assembly capabilities, Stremel adds versatility and more proven credibility to Chandler’s operations. Chandler Industries acquired Stremel on January 11th, 2013.
